ALOFT Expands Gogo Galileo FDX STC to Additional Boeing 737 Aircraft

LAS VEGAS, NEVADA (October 20, 2026) ALOFT AeroArchitects has received FAA approval for the installation of the Gogo Galileo FDX on the Boeing 737-800 and Boeing 737-8 aircraft.  The new models were added to Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) ST04815NY, which previously approved the BBJ 737-700. The amended STC broadens access to Gogo's global, high-speed connectivity solution across additional Boeing platforms.

The original STC represented the industry's first FAA approval for Gogo Galileo FDX connectivity on a BBJ platform. Since receiving that certification and completing the inaugural installation, ALOFT has supported multiple Galileo FDX installations from its Georgetown, Delaware facility and supplied installation kits to authorized dealers and integration partners worldwide.

"Expanding this STC to additional Boeing aircraft models reflects our ongoing commitment to delivering proven connectivity solutions to a broader range of operators," said Scott Meyer, CEO of ALOFT AeroArchitects. "As demand for reliable, global broadband connectivity continues to grow, this amendment provides operators with a streamlined path to integrating the latest generation of satellite communications technology."

ALOFT offers FAA-certified Galileo FDX installation solutions through turnkey installations at its Georgetown, Delaware facility and installation kits for qualified installers worldwide. Operators interested in upgrading can submit an inquiry through ALOFT's support portal to confirm STC applicability and discuss installation options.
